General Improvements
Added a Documents Screen
- Add documents such as test results, x-rays, and health insurance cards to the MedZuse database.
- Almost any kind of document is supported, including pdf, jpeg, docx, and many more.
- Retrieve the document by simply clicking on the document icon in the list of documents.
- After retrieval, the document can then be printed and presented to a health care professional such as your doctor.
- This feature is available to users of the Pro Edition of MedZuse only.
- After adding one or more documents to MedZuse Documents, it’s important to back up your MedZuse database. To do this, export a MedZuse data file for each user profile. For best results, exported files should be saved to a portable drive or a cloud storage service. Note: Failing to back up your data by exporting and safely storing a Medzuse Data File may result in the permanent loss of your documents and other important information.
Added Import / Export Data File Tool
- A user’s data can now be exported to a Medzuse data file, which can be stored to a portable or remote drive as a backup, and imported later.
- This feature is available to users of both the Free Edition and the Pro Edition of MedZuse.

The Data Access Policy for MedZuse has changed
- Effective with this version, the Data Access Policy for MedZuse has changed.
- All data entered into the MedZuse app remains permanently accessible to users. This includes previously entered data , which is viewable at all times—regardless of whether you are using the Free Edition or the Pro Edition of MedZuse.
- However, where certain features of the MedZuse app require a Pro Edition license, users must have an active Pro Edition license to add or edit data.
-
A Pro Edition license is also required to generate reports that include the following data categories:
- Family Medical History
- Doctor Visits
- Social History
- Vaccinations
- Hospitalizations
- Surgeries and Procedures
- Notes and Questions
- Insurance Information
- It is the user’s sole responsibility to back up their data stored within the MedZuse database. To ensure data security and continuity, users should regularly export a MedZuse data file for each user profile. For optimal protection, these exported files should be stored securely on a portable drive or a trusted cloud storage service. Failure to export and safely store your data may result in permanent loss of documents and other critical information.
- If you choose to encrypt your data using a password and PIN, it is entirely your responsibility to securely store and remember this information. The owner and developer of MedZuse cannot recover encrypted data if the password or PIN is lost. In such cases, your data will be permanently inaccessible.
